Mae Wilson said that at the time of Mr Wilson's disappearance on May 31, 1925 he was living in Stone Cliff with Ober and Mae during the week and would go to Fayetteville on the weekends. To be with Angie, his third wife. This weekend he took the train on Friday from Stone Cliff to Fayetteville and then back to Stone Cliff on Sunday night. Mae and Ober were living in the big company house in Stone Cliff where Mr Wilson kept a bedroom for week day use. On the Sunday evening that he disappeared mother said they hear the train come in but never heard him come to bed. The next morning Ober looked at all the mine locations and no Mr Wilson. They were able to verify that he did get off the train at Stone Cliff that Sunday evening by another passenger who knew him.
He always checked the Coal cars for the next day and the man saw him go off in that direction. Mae also said he always carried a lot of money so someone may have been Watling when he started to check the string of coal cars. As this was always his set routine.
Information from Ima Wilson's insurance policy issued in 1929. Her father disappeared 4 years earlier, and that he was in good health. She said he just disappeared and was never heard from again, and that as he was with the coal mines he was probably murdered.
I had always thought that Charlie was supernatant of the coal company where He and my father Ober worked, but mother told me in 1994 that he and a Mr Brockman owned the company. I can remember them as living in a big house just up river from the store. They had a daughter several years older than I and a son Eddie about three years older than I .
I Found an article published in the Charleston Daily Mail June 27, 1977 about Church at Ansted WV. The church of the Redeemer at Anstead. The article was on the stunning stained glass windows in the church. Mae Wilson saved the article and noted on it that my grandfather was a member of this church from about 1918 Till his death about 1925 and that he was very proud of the stained glass windows.

Aunt Griz lived in Fayetteville and we (David A. Wilson) visited her and uncle Jim when I was very young. She was always willing to buy something for me.
They came to live with us for a time in Hampton, Va and then after some time as things didn't work out they moved out and lived on their own in Hampton.
